This month I have
the bow sprit finished (Left) and welded the mooring samson post
(Right) to the foredeck
whilst it was still accessible. We both had 2 weeks holiday to relax
before I returned to Germany for my winter work.
Prior to departure I managed
to start fitting the first two of the 23 hull plates using the gantry to
lift and hold the plates while I attach them to the frames with small tack
welds.
