I spent part of
the month laying the deck onto the flat patch. There was a slight
anomaly on the starboard bow (12mm) that had to be corrected. Once the
deck was welded together I then welded all the deck stiffeners together
(about 76 in all).

The rest of the
month has seen the remaining 30 frames welded to the deck. The ring
frames for the mast (20+21) will be fitted once the hull is lifted off the
floor. The hull's fine entry and powerful flat stern with a pleasant
rounded beam is now evident.
